The CCNT comprehensively tracks the progress of provincial level "dual carbon" initiatives based on collected and compiled climate action policy documents released by provincial governments. It monitors the transition progress towards zero carbon across provinces from multiple dimensions, including carbon emissions trend, key emission reduction indicators by sectors, and decoupling status. Currently, it has encompassed 30 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions in China.
